So if I was starting a new business - that was scalable - from scratch with no list, no reputation, no products and no contacts I wouldn’t make it difficult for myself.

I wouldn’t try to reinvent the wheel.

I would focus on what really matters:

So I would make sure that I built uniqueness into my business, product and approach so it stood out from the crowd. (This is easy to do using a simple technique I share)
